As kids from Southern California, visiting you always felt like a dream, a place only accessible through film and magazines.
We find many similarities between NY and LA, yet you two couldn't be anymore different. Every time we came through, you showed us nothing but love. Embracing us individually and as a whole. There's a drive and energy that you carry that cannot be matched. There's an individualistic and collectivist aspect that's difficult to really describe.
All of that to say, New York, we appreciate all of the love and support you've showed us at Pirate over the last six-plus years. Thank you for being that second home to us and a constant source of inspiration.
