Pirate is excited to work alongside West Wilson to present to you the Clover L Bandana.  West and Pirate connected a while back and decided to team up around the story and inspiration of his father’s cattle brand, Clover L Cattle, based north of Columbia, Missouri. West’s family has owned the cattle ranch since as far back as 1965. For West, his father Bruce has been wearing silk scarves on the ranch for as long as he can remember.

The memories of his father Bruce regularly wearing bandanas played a key role in inspiring the Clover L Bandana artwork. The Clover L design on each corner of the scarf is taken directly from the logo of West’s great-grandfather’s cattle brand. His name was Dr. Warren Lovinger—thus, the “L” on the stem of the clover, honoring the family name. It’s a meaningful and respectful homage to West’s roots.
